Ten on Tuesday

Ten on Tuesday_09132011

YAY! I completed the +11 in ‘11 Reading Challenge (sponsored by Books on the Nightstand at goodreads.com) The challenge was to read 11 more titles in 2011 than in 2010. My goal was 103 titles and, in finishing The Improper Life of Bezillia Grove (by Susan Gregg Gilmore), I am now open to pursue the remainder of the challenges that I committed to for 2011 and; to other personal goals 🙂

I’ve had to adjust the list from last week, removing yet another ARC that expired before I could get to it: Lamb by Bonnie Nadzam. Again, since the company I work from produced the audio I will simply move it over to my TBL-Q. I’ve had In the Garden of Beasts hanging around a little too long, so it’s time to push it to the top and finish it already! The True Memoirs of Little K cuts in line because I need to read it for an online book club discussion hosted by Jennifer K (@DevourerofBooks/Devourer of Books) and Nicole B (@NicoleBo/Linus’s Blanket) AND it also happens to qualify for the What’s in as Name? 4 Challenge sponsored by Candace L. (@BethFishReads/Beth Fish Reads. A Bad Beginning moves up too (What’s in as Name? 4 Challenge) as well as Kings of the Earth and Skeletons at the Feast. The latter are both novels written by Books on the Nightstand Reading Retreat 2011 authors and, I will be able to claim entries in the BOTNS Author Challenge.
