My dau is lactose intolerant so in a show of support for her dietary restriction, I decided that I would avoid dairy as much as possible with her. Whoa! Now that I look at how much dairy is in my diet, I am shocked! Parmesan, Cheddar, Brie, Camembert, Jalapeno Jack, Monterey… all sorts of cheeses make it into my meals in one way or another! It doesn’t help that there’s a world class diary in the area and that their product is promoted heavily (and with justifiable pride!) But, moderation is the key. Even with the best intentions, I find dairy sneaking into my what I’m eating. It’s just time for me to limit my dairy intake to something more reasonable, like avoiding the pizza, ice cream, glasses of whole milk and snacking on blocks of cheese šŸ™‚
